Extra-Curricular Activities

Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School students are provided with a variety of cultural, academic, spiritual and recreational activities during the school year. Some of these include: the Deloraine Youth Drama Festival, Northern Midlands State Schools Sporting Association, ANZAC Day parade, student leadership and camping programs. These programs have a focus on values and are held in environmental settings.

Student leadership is strongly fostered at Our Lady of Mercy. Students in Grade 6 are elected to positions of leadership that include School Captains, Vice Captains and House Captains. Through their roles, students lead hour groups at sporting carnivals, facilitate whole school assembles and represent the School at various community events.
